Nutzer eines Wahoo Bikecomputers werden wahrscheinlich in erster Linie den Komoot Webservice nutzen, um Routen auf ihre Wahoo Bike Computer hochzuladen. Das Zusammenspiel zwischen diesem Webservice und den 'Wahoos' ist wirklich sehr gut, auch wenn es hin und wieder Probleme bei der Abarbeitung der Cue-Sheets während einer Tour geben kann.

What can you do with WRPElevationChart (a lightweight GPS viewer app for Android)

WRPElevationChart was originally an app designed to visualize GPS and elevation data. However, over time, some special features have been added that can help other apps to import specific file formats that these apps cannot handle themselves.

In addition, WRPElevationChart supports other apps to visualize the data (elevation profile combined with a map view) in a more user friendly and accessible way, because the map view is linked with the elevation chart and vice versa. Due to the fact that the elevation chart and map views are kept as simple as possible, the map view can be easily combined with the elevation chart, even on small smartphone screens and with a generally good performance, even on mid-range smartphones.

I want to briefly present these special uses cases here.

Ein Versuch den Kartenstil des Wahoo Roam Bikecomputers auf Garmins IMG-Karten zu adaptieren

Vorgeschichte: ausgehend von einem Thread im MTB-News Forum (Garmin mit kostenlosen Karten und POIs) wuchs in mir der Wunsch, die auf meinen Edge Geräten installierten Karten, etwas aufzuhübschen.

Aufzuhübschen trifft es nicht ganz, geht es mir in erster Linie doch mehr darum, die Karten und vor allem die drauf eingeblendeten Routen und Tracks besser einzusehen bzw. ablesen zu können.

Garmin verwendet bei den Edge Bikecomputern leider sehr blasse Defaultfarben für die Routen- und Tracklinien, die mit Ausnahme manuell erstellter Strecken, nicht verändert werden können.
